Engen Family Session

Meghan is very creative with an amazing eye and very simple and sophisticated taste so I was excited when she wanted to do a session on their amazing property. She gave me full permission to lean into the artsy side of a family session instead of the more common everyone looking and smiling. I try to capture the personalities of any shoot I do and approach each session with design in mind but this particular session had a more editorial/lifestyle feel of a day in the life of the Engen fam. Their yard is little boy adventure heaven and you can tell how at ease they feel with each other in their favorite spot. The playfulness and tenderness of these images mark a specific season for Meghan and Taylor and their littles and I am so happy to have captured moments of it.
