House Family

Alyx and I were in the Art program together at Cal Poly where she studied Graphic Design and I concentrated in Photography so I was really excited to get to work with her on rebranding my business and then getting to photograph her cutie family. The special component of these shoots is that I got to shoot them with a medium format film camera which is just my dream come true ESPECIALLY because Alyx appreciates it like I do! For real, check our her website because she is SO talented. and nice. and pretty. We broke their session into two separate days and locations starting at their beach bungalow in San Clemente that is obviously a perfect showcase of Alyx’s taste and flare for design. The beach night we had was windy and warm and Brady was the bravest toddler there ever was and Lola was the cutest baby there ever was and I love Alyx and Stephen as well so it was pretty much perfect. This family project gave me so much creative life and these are the types of sessions I learn the most as well. My favorite image I have is the one of Alyx holding Brady and her hat. I am just obsessed and always will be.
